We are incredibly excited to announce that our newest Millstone Public House location opened on July 14, 2024, in East Hants at 1135 Highway 2. As a family-owned business, we’re thrilled to join this tight-knit and growing community.

Owned and operated by Adam and Joanne McCullough from Dartmouth, the Millstone Public House is more than just a restaurant; it’s a family endeavour. Even their two sons contribute by working as hosts and servers. This isn’t a franchise, but a local business dedicated to making a positive impact.

At the Millstone Public House, our focus isn’t just on business; it’s on building community. We’re proud to have created over 100 jobs in the Halifax area and donated more than $25,000 to Feed Nova Scotia, along with countless contributions to other local organizations. One of our special offerings, and something we are very proud of,  is the Local Hero Pale Lager, a beer exclusively available at Millstone Public House.  For every pint sold, 25 cents is donated to support local minor sports.  As this is our top selling draught beer this donation adds up fast and makes a lasting impact on the community.

As it has been since day one at our first ever Millstone in Dartmouth, our menu features amazing dishes made from fresh ingredients and cooked with skill. From the unbeatable Millstone Burger to the crave worthy Maple Curry Chicken Penne our dishes offer an elevated take on pub fare we think you’re going to love.

As we get settled into our new community, we are currently not taking reservations at the Millstone in Lantz. We are thrilled to announce the upcoming arrival of Millstone Public House to East Hants, Nova Scotia – one of the fastest-growing communities in Canada! This marks an incredibly exciting time for us as we expand our family and bring our unique dining experience to even more guests.

Nestled in the heart of East Hants, our newest location is undergoing a transformation into a warm and welcoming pub and restaurant. Soon, it will be a bustling hub where families and friends gather to share delicious meals, enjoy a drink or two, and create cherished memories together.

Located just a block or two from the East Hants Sportsplex, we imagine that our new spot will quickly become the go-to destination for pre and post-game celebrations. Whether you’re fuelling up before hitting the ice, unwinding after a thrilling game, or perhaps taking a little time to yourself while your kid laces up, the Millstone Public House will be the perfect place to gather and connect with your community.

It doesn’t look like much yet..but this will soon be a cozy bar area.  Fully stocked with great wine, ten beers on tap, an awesome cocktail list, a few TVs to watch the game and lots of tables tucked here and there for those gatherings we live for.

It’s hard to see it yet, but this will soon become a community pub and restaurant filled with people eager to carve out a little time together. Walk through those front doors and you’ll be a stranger but once.

We have already sold over 1,000 Burger Week Burgers and it’s only Tuesday! This city wide Burger Bash is such an incredible way to eat well, have some fun, support a local business and make a huge difference in the community with a donation to Feed Nova Scotia.  We couldn’t be more thrilled to be participating once again.  By Sunday night we had already sold 1,000 burgers across three locations.  This is incredible momentum that we hope to keep going.  Our goal is to sell over 4,000 of these delicious Pizza Burgers and make a huge donation from the Millstone Public House to Feed Nova Soctia!  We need your help. Come to any of our three locations and order a Teenage Mutant Ninja Burger to jump in on the fun.  We think you’re going to love our Pizza- Burger mash up that you never even knew you needed to experience.  It’s so delicious. Please don’t delay….burger week comes to an end Saturday April 20th.

Dear Valued Customers,

We regret to inform you that after more than 8 years of offering half price wings every Wednesday night at the Millstone Public House, we must discontinue this beloved promotion. The decision comes as a result of the rising costs of chicken wings, which have significantly impacted our ability to sustain the promotion without operating at a loss.

Like many in the food industry, we are experiencing the effects of increasing food costs, and we have reached a point where continuing the half price wings promotion is simply not financially feasible. However, please rest assured that our commitment to providing high-quality and reasonably priced food remains unchanged.

While we will no longer be able to offer half price wings on Wednesdays, we will continue to serve our delicious chicken wings on the menu at the best price possible. We take pride in the effort we put into maintaining both quality and affordability at the Millstone, and this decision was not made lightly.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and support during this transition. We value your patronage and look forward to continuing to serve you with the same dedication and excellence that you have come to expect from us.
