The Millstone Public House is locally owned and operated by Adam and Joanne McCullough. We are a family of four with two young active boys participating in many sports and activities in this beautiful community. We are proud to have the support of our neighbours and friends in the Halifax area and do what we can to give back to sports teams, community organizations, and worthy causes.
Please understand that we do receive a large number of requests for funding and are simply unable to accommodate them all. If you would like to submit a request for funding, please submit the form below to complete the application. We do not accept requests dropped off at either restaurant location or through social media. Only successful applicants will be contacted.
The Millstone Cup
Every year, the championship teams from all HRM minor C hockey leagues come together to compete for the Millstone Cup. These Atom, Pee-wee, bantam, and midget teams battle it out to win the title of C City champions. We at the Millstone Public House are extremely proud to be title sponsors of this exciting annual event. Our contribution helps pay for player metals, ice time, and referees.
Sport is the heart of any great Canadian community, and ours is no different.
Behind the many athletes are the coaches, managers, volunteers, and families that cheer them on. We salute all of you as local heroes!
25 cents from every pint of Local Hero Pale Lager sold at the Millstone Public House will be donated to local sports teams. This crisp and delicious lager is the perfect toast to the maritime way of getting into the game.
